Okay, they used a fictional city named Pemberly used all the familiar names of the characters in different ways. Darcy was the heroine in the story. Bingsley was the name of her gay best friend. Without the names and any showing of Pride and Prejudice, this would have been a cute small read of a book. Darcy doesn’t want to live off of her rich family but wants to make her own way. When her mother suffers a heart attack, she comes back to her town and meets back up with an old flame and a guy that wasn’t even on her radar. Which one will be indefinitely choose and how can her family just come together and be kind to each other?

67. Waiting for Tom Hanks
I think that I am also a girl that has seen very girlie rom-com movie and knows them inside and out. The character Annie Cassidy lives her life looking for her rom com ending. When she is asked to be a directors assistant in her little town in Ohio, all of a sudden she has a couple of men wanting her attention. As she figures out what she wants to do in life, writing a screenplay, moving out of her childhood home, helping her best friend realize who she loves, she also has to figure out who she loves.
This was the best read!! I stayed up late last night to try to finish it. Bea is a plus size gal who blogs about the clothes she wears and where she finds them. She hits send when drunk one night, talking about the newest Bachelors TV show, The Main Squeeze. She talks about there never being a plus size woman on the show!! Of course the producers find her, and she is the next Main Squuze contestant!! It goes along with many of the men saying ugly things off and on camera about her body type, still having feelings for an old flame, and getting down to nitty gritty and having numerous men who really does love spending time with her. Who will she end up with?

This was just the sweet read that I needed. Three friends swap themselves into their families lives over Christmas. Each woman has something come up along the way…..especially when it comes to meeting a man!! If you like the movie, The Holiday, you will definitely love this book. At times it is hard to keep up with three different characters, their life and new love interests. But, this book reads easily and you never have to wonder which character is which. I would highly recommend this book, even if you don’t read it during Christmas time!!

This was a cute book to read. Aubrey Cash is a teenager that becomes best friends with a new neighbor. Once things go awry, she begins to date his cousin. What begins as a book that you believe to know who she ends up with, in the end you see how much she has grown in who she chooses. It reminded me of high school in all the rom com elements. What I would say is that the neighbors bisexuality comes up in conversations but it really did not need to be in there. I don't know if it was a new element that the author wanted to have in the book, but it was not needed and did nothing for the storyline. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to remember how it was to be a girl in high school.

It was so good!! I really liked how it began and ended.
An audiobook from the library that I very much enjoyed. It was narrated by him as well. The stories were about famous people and just regular everyday ones.
If you loved watching My Crazy Ex Girlfriend, then you will definitely love this book. You get to know the author on such a best friend level, that you will feel like you are reading her diary or sitting on the couch listening to one of her therapy sessions. You can see how and why My Craxy Ex Girlfriend was all about. I would definitely recommend the book to anyone who would like to learn more about this author.
