The movie that Tom Cruise was in, called The Last Samurai was not like the book at all.
The Plague is a novel about a plague epidemic in the large Algerian city of Oran. In April, thousands of rats stagger into the open and die. When a mild hysteria grips the population, the newspapers begin clamoring for action. The authorities finally arrange for the daily collection and cremation of the rats.
This is one that I did not read bc it seemed too much like the pandemic that is going on now.

There has been 4 movies made about the book. There was also a War and Peace mini series by the BBC.
Do you remember the 90’s movie of this? My mother loved the movie and would make us watch a bunch of times. It was with a young Chris Odonnell and a non dirty crazy Charlie Sheen. I just remembered Keifer Sutherland!!!!!!!
