This was such a wonderful Amish book! This book shows how things of the past does not make your future. Mary Penner has been living back with her grandparents after her Mother passed away. Mary’s childhood is whispered about in the community, but they don’t really know what all happened. When Abe begins to want to court her, will she open up to all that she has seen in her life? Such a book of redemption.

Such a wonderful read!!! Everyone should read this book!! Sam is an English major that uses quotes in her everyday life. When she is able to go to college bc of a secret benefactor, she must also write them letters as part of receiving money. Throughout the book is letters upon letters. Sam has had a horrific childhood and the letters and her English degree helps her to see who she really is.
Finding Jo! By: Frances Ive!
Thank you to the publisher for sending me this book to read and review. This was the best new novel to read. If you liked Eat, Pray, Love then you will enjoy this. Jo leaves to go to a meditation place in India. She didn’t tell any of her family and also her ex boyfriend who still loves her. The book goes along with Jo and her living in India. All of the things that she gets to do and the people she meets while there. But, this book is much more bc it talks about her whole family as well. Once Jo leaves, her mother says outkoud the family secret, and she has the courage to move to Africa. Jo’s sister works on herself as well. Her brother even goes to India in order to decide what to do with his own family. All is resolved in the end, or as best as can be. Such a wonderful book that I would recommend to anyone.
Such a wonderful read!! Daisy is a free spirited gal. When her downstairs neighbor needs her to be his fiancee to get a job, the details seem easy. What will happen when they really have to get married? Will she turn into a stepford wife or be who she really is?
Thankful to my sister who brought it on our family trip to read. It was such a cute book!!
Another wonderful and quick Amish book to read. Susannah doesn’t want to fall for the new bad boy that came back into town. What will happen when they begin to spend time together? Will they both share each other’s pasts and hopes for the future?
This was such a nice quick read to start me back into Amish books. When the Prodigal Son comes back to the Amish world, what happens?
This was the first book by the author that I read. Throughout there were about 20 or more recipes, talking about the bakery that the characters were making. A murder does happen. But more importantly, I feel like everyone in the whole book had dinner parties with China platters, wine and champagne, and detailed desserts. Throughout, it really talked about what they were bringing for a dinner to eat or drink. You do at the end, like in the last 2 pages, find out who the murderer is. I don’t think that I will read another one of her books.
I don’t know what to say about this book. Yes, I did stay up until I finish the whole book. If you liked Bridget Jones Diary or Jemima J, you may really enjoy this one. One thing right out the gate was explicit sex scenes, not even with the main characters.
Holly is a young widow that has let herself go. When she goes on a plane she sits beside the most gorgeous personal trainer. When he asks her to train her, things get going. He gives her the sterness and kindness that she needs to begin to work out and slowly lose weight. Will they become more than friends? What will happen when she begins to go with him and friends and doesn’t feel glamorous like the others? I still don’t know how I feel about the book. Parts I really enjoyed but others I did not.
Thanks for Rachel’s Random Resources for an arc of this book!!
Thank you for sending me an early arc of the book.
This was such a cute book!
Abbie has her life spun around when she finds out that she has been given an inheritance of a hotel in Greece!! Will she be able to leave her old life, which has gotten a little crazy? Why did her aunt leave her this gorgeous hotel and what will she do when she comes to sell it? A delightful and wonderful story. Such an easy read that makes you feel like you are right there with the main character.
84. Home all Along By: Beth Wiseman
Such a wonderful end to a trilogy. All of the characters throughout the book end up where you would want them to be. I would recommend the books to anyone who loves to read about the Amish.
