59. The Book of Knowing By: Gwendoline S.

This was an ARC from Netgalley. It was an audiobook and I loved listening to it. I even took notes about it. It discussed how to work on your anxiety and depression, which helped so much. It gives such a good perspective and useful information on how to cope and see your anxiety in a different way. I would highly recommend this to anyone that needs a pick me up and some help with their anxiety. The audiobook’s narrator’s voice was soothing and she made you feel like you were sitting on her couch at home.

58. The Hating Game

This was the best book!!

One of the Booktubers that I watch, Noelle Gallagher gave this book 5 stars. I always like the books that she likes and so, I bought the book.

I couldnt out the book down and finished it today. Here is the best synopsis that I did not write.

Nemesis (n.) 1) An opponent or rival whom a person cannot best or overcome.

2) A person’s undoing

3) Joshua Templeman

Lucy Hutton and Joshua Templeman hate each other. Not dislike. Not begrudgingly tolerate. Hate. And they have no problem displaying their feelings through a series of ritualistic passive aggressive maneuvers as they sit across from each other, executive assistants to co-CEOs of a publishing company. Lucy can’t understand Joshua’s joyless, uptight, meticulous approach to his job. Joshua is clearly baffled by Lucy’s overly bright clothes, quirkiness, and Pollyanna attitude.

Now up for the same promotion, their battle of wills has come to a head and Lucy refuses to back down when their latest game could cost her her dream job…But the tension between Lucy and Joshua has also reached its boiling point, and Lucy is discovering that maybe she doesn’t hate Joshua. And maybe, he doesn’t hate her either. Or maybe this is just another game

Update

I am almost finished with my Top 100 Books Scratch off poster. Honestly, the books that I have left are ones that I am not o so excited about. Also, I have been working on some monthly Readathons!! I made a bullet journal that helps with knowing how many books and how many pages that I read in the month.

August: 4, 483 pages and 19 books

Completed the Trope-ical Readathon

September: Becca’s Bookopoly Readathon

So, I am just going to continue to count books as the number of Top 100 of Books Poster and also the other books that I read. When the year hits, I am just going to count all of the books together.

I also have been able to receive audio and e-books from Netgalley. It allows publishers to give out ARC’s, not yet out books and can receive reviews.

This was the best YA book that I have read in a while. I would definitely use this book as a read a loud in the classroom. Jett is a famous billionaires son. The beginning Jett tries everything to be kicked out. Once he realizes that something fishy is going on at the center, he begins to friends. 56. DEAR EDWARD By: Ann N

I just have started listening to audiobooks. This was only my third one. This one was the longest of 10 hours!!! I am used to finishing a book in a day or 2 days and this book, I listened for numerous ones.

You read some books and they stick with you. The premise sounds very interesting.

The book starts with a group of people boarding a plane. You meet 7 to 8 different families/people. You also get to know the main flight attendant. Then, in the coming chapters, you see that only Edward, a young boy on the plane with his family is the sole survivor. The next chapters and throughout the book, you get to know the passengers and also how Edward recovers and lives with his aunt and uncle. Its tough at times bc you already know the ending but not how it happened.

Disclaimer: The f word is said by different characters throughout the book.
