109. The Bachelor Baker By: Carolyne Aarsen

Such a cute read!! When city slicker Melissa comes to town and opens a bakery due to anonymous benefactor, she is met with the disdain of Brian. But, he is on the list of people to hire from the town. Will he even want the job? How will they interact with each other? This to me was a fast read that brought such a cute ending to a story. Just what I needed at this time.

108. Kitchens of the Great Midwest! By: J. Ryan Stradal

I don’t remember who or how I heard about this book, but I couldn’t put it down. It does have several time lines and also goes from one character to a totally different character through the book. Lars is a chef that loves cooking, his wife, and his newborn baby girl. But, at the beginning his wife leaves the family. Another couple of chapters later, you begin the life of the daughter Eva, in her early teens until older. How was her relationships with her family. One thing is for sure, she has her father’s love for food. Throughout the book are her recipes that she uses and shows how she becomes a famous chef. The last page of the book will make you happy that you read it. It’s one that everything comes around when you least expect it.

107. Nevermoor by: Jessica Townsend

This was such a good book!! I didn’t realize that it has 4 more books in the series! I don’t see myself reading anymore of them, but I can see why people are excited about them!! This book reminded me of Divergent and also Harry Potters Goblet of Fire!
Morrigan believes she is cursed. She has a terrible homelife, where they are all waiting for her 11th birthday where she is cursed to die. Before that, she is taken away to another world, where she now must battle with others her age in four different areas. Will she want to go back to her horrible home life? What is her magical power that will enable her to get through the four trials? I couldn’t put the book down, I read it in one day!!

106. DNF The Amish Heart of Ice Mountain

I just can’t. The brother from the other book I read is made to marry the Healer of Amish Group bc he was found with his shirt off. I don’t know why he wasn’t shunned or told to go away bc he just does everything against what the Amish do and is so crass and hurtful to his new wife. The new wife is just a young girl, who has learned how to help other with herbs and spices (that sounds like KFC), but keeps being hurt by not knowing what to do with her knew husband. I got through about 40 pages and then I just can’t find out anymore. I think the author is using the Amish as an extra, where she could have just had a book about these people’s lives. Has anyone else read these books?

105. An Amish Man of Ice Mountain By: Kelly Long

This is the second book in a 6 book series. I didn’t realize it when I bought it. When I looked on Goodreads, there were differences in opinions on the book. I will say that if you are looking for a regular Amish Fiction book, then you will think this is Fifty Shades of Grey because there is talks of having sex in the book. Joseph, an Amish man was working on an oil rig. When he meets Priscilla at a saloon, he realizes that her and her young daughter are living out of her car. When he hears of her sorted past, he offers to take her up Ice Mountain to stay with him and the rest of the Amish people. Will they fall in love? Will her past come back to haunt her?

103. Plain Admirer 104. Second Chance Proposal.

Two books in one!! I couldn’t put the down and read it through the night!! They each had a trope that I love.

Love/hate relationship, Second Chance love, women having their own life before marrying. I would recommend this book of two for anyone who wants to try an Amish book or just needs a good hearted story.

102. Holy Hot Mess By: Mary Katherine Backstrom

Such a wonderful arc of a book given to me by the publisher. It felt like you were sitting on the authors couch and she was just talking about life. I loved how she used her own things that have happened to her to show God’s love for you. I would recommend this book to anyone!!!

Such a cute YA book!! Terra Cooper is said to be gorgeous, even with a huge birth mark on the side of her face. When she accidently almost hits a Goth like guy with her car, things begin to change. Will she get more surgery to help change her face? What will happen to her family when her mother and her go on a trip of a lifetime? Such a good book that I would recommend to anyone that likes YA.

100. Every Last Word By: Tamara Ireland Stone

Has anyone else read this book? When I was reading it, I felt like I had read it a long time ago but it still was so good!!! An ocd teenager who sees a therapist once a week finds a new outlet with going to a Poetry Corner. New friends make it hard for her to stop hanging out with 7 other Mean Girls that she has been friends with forever. This book goes along with a Year Long Readathon I’m doing, but you should check this out at the library like I did if you enjoy YA books!!!
