This was a sweet quick read about the very first Christmas. The illustrations were so wonderful. I think this would be a good book to read at bedtime to a child during Christmas

164. Christmas Miracles by: Karen Kingsbury

Book Arc

Thank you to Hachette Publishing for the arc of the book. Karen Kingsbury does it wonderfully again with a book of true Christmas tales. These 20 little stories will make you excited about Christmas and how God orchestrates things that we don’t even see. This would be a great coffee table book or to read a chapter each night with someone.

163. Beautiful Creatures by: Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

ReRead: Library Book/Library Audiobook

I started listening to this book from the Libby App. It was going to be 16 hours bc they book over 500 pages! The audio was wonderful, background music, different voices. But, I just wanted to read it faster bc Daniel and I will watch the movie together! I still loved the book. I don’t think I will go on to read the others in the series just in case I don’t like them as much as the first.

Lena comes to live in town, and everyone is crazed bc of it. They mock her and make her feel like everything that’s been going wrong, rain, shattering of windows is her fault. But….is it? Ethan Wate wants to escape his small town, be he wants to see the world. He has been having dreams about a girl and lo and behold, when Lena walks into class, he realizes she is the one each night. Their love story is just the beginning of all of the things that come about when she moves in.

162. My Boyfriend is a Bear By: Pamela Ribbon

Borrowed from library

This was the cutest graphic novel! Friends at the library have found this book, and we are taking turns reading it. Nora falls in love with a bear. If you take away the bear part and just think of him as a hairy man, you will see the in and outs of a relationship. Really cute.

160. It’s a wonderful woof by: Spencer Quinn

Borrowed from library

This was the first book in a long time that I could not finish. I even read one of the other ones and liked it. This wasn’t my cup of tea. I feel like it went way too slow.
