136. Miriam’s Heart By: Emma Miller

Borrowed from library. Part of a series

Miriam has a choice of two men. One, a best friend that she has had for years and the second is the local Mennonite vet. She does take the time to court with both of them, but when people start saying things about her, she must make a choice. Its the choice that I would have made.

134. Enola Holmes and the Case Of The Peculiar Fan by: Nancy Springer

Library Ebook

I have been trying to finish books that are in a series. I found the last two books I needed to complete the Enola Holmes series as ebooks from the library.

I just love the Enola Holmes books. You know Watson and Sherlock will show up out if thin air to help her or for them to realize that they need her help. This one was about a girl that was kidnapped and was going to be made a bride. The usual clues were given out, which Enola had to decipher. The other thing about this series is that you do not have to read them in order, they are stand alone books.

133. Dumplin’ By: Julie Murphy

Borrowed from the Library: Used for Tropeical readathon

I had heard about the book when I saw that there was a movie about it. This is my categories book for the Tropeical Readathon this month.

I really liked this book. It’s another chubby girl trying to find her way in a world with skinny people. I even want to read the companion books that go along with it.

132. How to stop time by: Matt Haig

Library Book

When you are putting back books in the shelves and come upon one of your favorite authors, you have to read it! He is the author of the Midnight Library. Not only that, but the synopsis makes you think of Time Travelers Wife. Since Tom is over 400 years old, his one rule to follow is to never fall in love. When he meets another school teacher, he begins to think of all of his memories and also what he wants to a future. I still love Midnight Library more, but I did enjoy this one.

131. Nursing Her Amish Neighbor by: Marta Perry

Borrowed from the library

Since I’m back to reading Amish Books, I felt again like I had already read this one. But in reality, I think that the books I usually read just have the same tropes.

This one was about a neighbor who was helping another who had a horrible accident. Now, in a wheelchair, the neighbor was tasked with helping with exercises and working with the physical therapist. Along the way, will he find forgiveness in his heart and also fall in love?
