69. In an Absent Dream By: Seanan McQuire

Wayward Children Series Number 4

This can very much be a stand alone book. I read it in one afternoon bc it was so good! Lundy would rather go through the tree to the other world instead of being at home. Even with this new place having many different riddles and you can’t do many things like even ask questions. Will she stay in this place that is hard but she loves even more than her real life? I would recommend this book to everyone!!

68. A Lowcountry Bride By: Preslaysa Williams

Comes out in June 2021 and everyone should get it to read!

Thank you to the publisher for an early arc of the book.

This was the cutest book!! Maya must come back home after her father falls and needs to her help in recovering. Maya is a bridal dress maker for a huge brand, but must leave it to help. Once she begins to help her dad, she also is invited to work at a nearby bridal dress shop. The own is Derek, a widowed man with a young daughter. So much happens in just one book but it so good that you can’t put it down. I highly recommend this to anyone that loves and love story or a story that involves tragedy and then beaming back to the top!!

67. Beneath the Sugar Sky By: Seaman McGuire

Third book in the Wayward Children Series

This was yet again another book in the Wayward Children series that I really enjoyed. This book takes place back at Eleanors House for Wayward Children. When a girl all of a sudden drops from the sky into the pond, she is met by several people in the house. When she begins to say that she is looking for her mother, she finds out that she is already deceased. How can that happen? Well, enjoy the book from start to end, with a gang of kids and Rini trying to bring back her mother and set things right.

66. Down among the sticks and bones By: Seaman McGuire

Second book in the Wayward Series

Such a good book!! This is the second in the Wayward Children series. It goes back in time from the first book, to show how the two characters, Jack and Jill came to be at the orphanage. You really get a sense of who they are and how they lived when they left their home at 12 and went through a door to the Moors. One twin became an apprentice to a Doctor in the town. The other stayed in a castle, waiting for the time when she could become a vampire as well. It shows how your life can be changed instantly and the decisions that you make. I will definitely read the next book, but this one is now my favorite.
